Mr Naga - Gold
95% naga chilli. Same recipe, far more of the good stuff. Deeper, richer, and noticeably hotter. For people who finished their first jar of Original and wanted more.
Gold, 95% naga chilli
Mr Naga Gold is what happens when you take the Original recipe and turn the chilli up to almost everything. 95% naga chilli, with the spice blend pulled back to a supporting role.
The difference is not only heat, though there is more of that. It is concentration. Gold tastes more of the pepper. The smokiness is stronger, the fruit underneath the burn is easier to find, and there is a rounder, slightly sweeter depth that Original does not have. It is the jar that cooks reach for when they want the naga to be the flavour of the dish rather than a background note.
Use it where you want to taste it: marinades, finishing sauces, compound butters, dressings. Or straight from the jar.
Fair warning: Gold is a step up. If you have not tried Original yet, start there.
