What do you offer?

We offer a range of Mr Naga chilli pickle paste and complimentary products manufactured in the UK. We are just getting started in Australia.

What makes Mr Naga different?

Our chilli pickle paste has been perfected over 25 years using the very same recipe we started with. Mr Naga captures the smoky aroma and fiery kick of the naga, or ghost pepper, chilli in a jar. Its flavour and aroma remain vibrant for months even after the jar is opened.

What is naga chilli, and is it the same as ghost pepper?

They are the same chilli. Naga is the name used across Bangladesh, northeast India and the British Bangladeshi community; ghost pepper is the English name for Bhut Jolokia. If the two names have been confusing you, we explain the difference in detail in naga chilli vs ghost pepper.

What is the difference between Mr Naga and Mr Naga Gold?

Mr Naga (Very Hot) is the original: a thick, oily chilli pickle with genuine heat alongside a deep, smoky, tangy flavour. Mr Naga Gold is packed with 95% naga chilli and is hotter and more chilli forward again. If you are not sure which to start with, the mixed packs let you try both.

Using it

How hot is it, and how much should I use?

Ghost pepper is one of the hottest chillies in the world, so treat Mr Naga as a cooking ingredient rather than a sauce you pour. Start with a quarter teaspoon stirred through whatever you are cooking and taste before adding more. Our guide to what naga pickle actually is covers this in more detail.

How do I cook with it?

It works stirred through curries, marinades, stir fries, eggs, noodles, rice and dips. A small amount lifts the whole dish rather than just adding heat.

What is the shelf life of Mr Naga?

Each jar has an expiry date on it. After manufacturing, an unopened jar typically has 2 years of shelf life.

Buying and delivery

Where can I buy Mr Naga in Australia?

How long does delivery take?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

How can I contact you?

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly, usually within two business days.

Returns and refunds

What is your returns and refund policy?

Due to the perishable nature of food products and for health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on food items once they have been delivered, unless the product is defective or an error occurred with your order.

What if my order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect?

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit, defective, past its expiry date, or incorrect (wrong item sent), please contact us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery at sales@mrnaga.com.au with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once reviewed, we may offer one of the following, at our discretion: a replacement product, a full or partial refund, or store credit.

Which items are non-returnable?

• Opened or consumed food products
• Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
• Items returned without prior approval
• Items returned after 15 days of delivery

Can I cancel an order?

Orders may be cancelled before shipment. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
